	General Manager: Dr. J. Schumacher Dr. Jürgen Schumacher co-founder and shareholder of Bibitec GmbH is shareholder of several biotec companies and member of several supervisory boards of biotech companies. In 1984 he was co-founder of QIAGEN, in 1994 co-founder of Evotec Biosystems and founder and since 1994 CEO and major shareholder of NewLab BioQuality AG. He is member of several academic societies and since 15 years politically committed in the advancement of biotechnology in NRW. He is member of the board of the biotech initiative BioRiver and since 2008 CEO.

	General Manager, CFO: Stefan Fischer Stefan Fischer is responsible for finance at the Bibitec GmbH. Mr. Fischer studied business economics at the Universities of Dortmund and Dublin. Following several years in management of finance and controlling for various international companies, he joined Bibitec GmbH in June 2003 as the CFO.

	General Manager: Prof. Dr. D. Lütkemeyer Prof. Dr. Dirk Lütkemeyer co-founder and general director of BIBITEC has more than 17 years of experience and expertise in the area of cultivation of mammalian cells and the purification of proteins. He established and headed a production plant for mammalian cells from 2003 to 2007. During the same period he was member of the board of Newlab Bioquality AG, a service provider for quality control of biopharmaceuticals. Since 2004 he is "qualified person" in accordance to German medicinal law. His teaching activities as a full Professor are in the area of downstream processing and GMP at the University of Applied Sciences in Bielefeld.

	Biologist, head of upstream processing Dr. K. Iding Kai Iding has more than 12 years experience in cell cultivation. He has worked in cooperation with renowned national and international companies including Novo Nordisk, Roche Diagnostics, and Sartorius BBI. In 2003 he joined the team of BIBITEC.

	Chemist, head of downstream processing Dr. Jörg Stute Jörg Stute has a 10 years experience in protein purification and joined the team of BIBITEC in 2003. As head of downstream processing he was responsible for the practical application of 26 successful EPO purification processes for clinical trials phase III and additional 11 batches for validation purposes. In the last years Jörg managed several process validation studies for the EPO production company (Norbitec). Jörg is also involved in the management of the different projects with academia and industry.
